Another Rainy Day

It's another rainy day here, thanks to Fay. She is a stubborn old gal. We are still getting rain from some of the outerbands, but like I have been saying, we will take all the rain we can get right now. I'm sure we will have rain all night since Fay is supposed to come back across the northern part of the state and since we are smack dab in the middle we will continue to get whatever the outerbands give us. I'm gonna ride my exercise bike for awhile and then sit down with my book. Good night to do that. By the way I am on a streak with the bike. This is my 4th day of having it and it's the 4th day I've used it. I have only been doing anywhere from 15 minutes to 1/2 hour but that's more than I've been doing. Hopefully I can keep this up.

This rain has been great! Good for you for keeping up with your bike riding.

"Rome" wasn't built in one day Bonnie, it will take some time to work up a routine with the bike, that you already are hitting the bike daily is good, best when ya settle into a good solid routine, say a hard 30 minutes of "cycling", maybe work up a sweat and some heavy breathing---then feel good about having done it. Find yourself some good reading material and hit the "bike"---or maybe like my dad did it---liek you in the basement, he logged miles and then tracked them on a map---cycling himself mentally across the country. (lol)---the man lived to be 86.and was still out plowing his fields the last day.

Gary, what a great idea. Maybe I'll pedal my way to your place. What a challenge that would be. I love it, thanks.

15 minutes is good! I don't think it matters how long..but as long as you get your heart rate up..that is doing the job!

Good for you:)

Wow ... Gary does have a GREAT idea about destination miles. For instance ... you could visit Andi first as she's closest, then Cecile ... and so on!! How cool would that be!!! Wooooo Hoooo!!!

Thanks, Missy, that's a great idea, too. I'll go up the eastern coast, that way I can stop in on you and then on to my relatives in New England. From there I'm not sure how I'd do it....maybe travel straight across the middle of the country, visit friends in Cleveland and then on the West Coast for a visit with Gary. This idea has really got me motivated now and I just want to go home and start pedalling. I'll keep you guys posted.
