I was thrilled on Mother's Day that I had my camera because Mr. Cardinal and his bride were very cooperative in letting me get some good close ups of them. I pulled right up to the curb next to them and they posed for me. Mrs. Cardinal was really skittish, maybe a nest was nearby. Not sure. I think Cardinals are some of the most beautiful birds.
