YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE.....MY ONLY SUNSHINE

You make me happy when skies are gray.......Yeah, for the first time in 5 days we have sunshine AND blue skies. We have had some much needed rain, but we still need some sunshine in our life. Fay has finally made her departure from our neck of the woods. And I'm glad she's gone. She left alot of devistation behind on our east coast, with flooding and 6 deaths. Unfortunatley 2 of those deaths were people from northern states who thought it would be cool to go swim in the ocean with the big waves. Even the wildlife was suffering. Alligators and snakes were floating down streets and in peoples yards looking for high ground. Fay may not have had the high winds, but she moved so slow (2 mph) and dropped torrential rain at times. I hope everyone who was in her path is safe and dry. I am very thankful to see the sun again.

Now I know your middle name!!!

Yes, I'm glad to see the sunshine too. My hubby washed his truck and then my car this morning before we headed to Lakeland and into a downpour. I seriously think a sure way to make it rain is to wash your car!!!

Thanks, Missy. Now everyone knows my middle name. And they know my real first name..... Wow a downpour in Lakeland, we didn't get anything but some thunder and clouds.

Glad to hear the weather is sunny for you! It's been a bit hot and humid here this past week, but they are predicting a little rain left over from Fay headed our way!

Cecile Kay is a beautiful name. Missy would agree....Melissa Kay. Alot of people can't pronounce my first name...so I've gone by Bon, Bo, Nita and finally when I got to Missy's family....Bonnie. So I totally understand. And my poor kids have a last name a mile long...Scianimanico.....that's why they are Wade and Scott. Wow...this has turned into a whole different blog about names....
