The Wedding......

I have sooo many pictures. I took almost 200 plus some of the other family members took some great ones. I think I'm just going to post pictures...fill in player names as I go and just let you enjoy! The wedding went off without a hitch (well with one hitch anyways). Everyone had a good time, young and old alike. What a great family my son has married into. His wife, Diana, a stunning bride, Layla, his stepdaughter, cute as can be. Well I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves.
Diana getting Layla ready.

Diana getting ready.

Diana's mom helping her with her veil.

Isn't Diana a beautiful bride?!

Diana with something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. Some let her borrow 2 football cards, an old one and a new one. And they had blue on them. How ingenious was that.

A before wedding picture of me, Hut and Wade.

Me, Wade and Wade's dad, Jim.

My youngest son, Scott, Wade, Jim and Wade's sister Ashley.

Wade and his two best men.....Tony and Bobby.

The maid and matron of honor.

The flower girls, Layla and Madison (Tony's daughter).

Diana, being walked down the aisle by her mom and dad.

Wade, watching his bride walk toward him.

Wade putting the ring on Diana's finger. ( You can tell I swiped this picture)

Diana putting the ring on Wade's finger. ( Yep swiped this one too)

You may kiss the bride!

Mr. and Mrs. Scianimanico.

Time for after wedding photos. This is Diana with Layla and her mom and dad.

Diana, Wade, Layla, Bobby, Tony and Sonny, the preacher.

Diana with her ladies. The maid of honor (I apologize that I don't remember her name....I met soooo many people that day). The matron of honor, Amber, Tony's wife, Madison and Layla.Wade, Diana and Layla with Diana's grandparents. Two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. The wedding was held at their place and what a beautiful place it was.

Wade, Diana, Layla and Wade's brother Scott, sister Ashley and Dad, Jim.

Diana, Layla, Wade, me and Hut.

The new family, Diana, Layla and Wade.

Bobby reading his toast for the new couple.

Toasting each other.

Their rings.

These two pictures are the couple's dance.

The wedding cake. It was a marble cake with buttercream icing, yummmmmy!

The cake topper.

Cutting the cake. If you're wondering what happened to the top layer, Jim, Tim and I took it off so the newlyweds could take it home and keep it for their first anniversary.

Let's eat some cake.

Or maybe Wade will wear some.....

Or maybe Diana will wear some.

Sweet cake kisses for Layla.

Diana did throw her bouquet and Wade took off and threw her garter, but I didn't get any good pics of that. But here's the lucky one's...Savanah and Tim ( no they're not a couple, but they do work together with Wade).

Under The Empire (Wade's band) put on a set for the reception. This is Tim, the singer.Tony, Brett and Ard aka J.Bones.And of course, the best drummer in the world, my son, the groom, WADE!

Diana and Layla watching the band.

Nobody wanted to dance, so me and Bobby danced. Still no one else got up. Oh well we had fun, lol.

While the band was playing some hooligans were decorating the getaway car (don't worry I won't mention any names Elaine, Ashley and oh yeah, Scott....ooops).Groom's side.Bride's side. ( Oh yeah, Bobby helped too)Finishing touches.

To end the day, Wade took Diana for a motorcycle ride on Scott's motorcycle.

This face says it all.....it was a happily ever after kind of day!

Memorial Day

MEMORIAL DAY was orginally called DECORATION DAY,which began in 1868 to remember those killed in the Civil War. Since WWI, Memorial Day has been a time to honor all those who have died in service to our country, from the Revolutionary War to the present.
To unite the country in the remembrance, Congress officially established the Nationa Moment of Remembrance in the year 2000. This is a time to reflect and honor America's fallen. More than a million men and women have died for our freedom. They sacrifice so that we may live and enjoy each constitutional right. At 3pm on Memorial Day please stop and remember our heroes that have given up their most precious gifts of life for us. At 3pm on Memorial Day, all major league baseball games will stop, Amtrack trains will blow their whistles and 6,200 Bulgers Across America will play "TAPS". So please.....at 3pm on Memorial Day, please pause to honor those who sacrificed for our freedoms. This is small price to pay for our freedom. Thank a soldier.
I will be celebrating my son's wedding on Memorial Day but I will make sure that I stop celebrating at 3pm to remember those who gave so that we may have. I know my son and his new wife will do the same and that they will ask those that are in attendance to do the same.
Everyone have a safe, fun Memorial Day.
