A little of this, a little of that

I've been a bad blogger. But I'm not going to apologize. I'm busy, you're busy, we're all busy. So sometimes things just have to wait. Like my blog. But I'm here today. I have been trying to keep up with reading all my favorite blogs. I may not comment but I was there.
I want to thank everyone again who was so supportive of me when I was dealing with my son, Scott. Good news is the 2nd grand theft charge has been dropped. Thank you God! When I saw that it was like a great weight has been lifted off my shoulders. He still has to go to traffic court for a couple of other charges, but his lawyer seemed real optimistic about those (as in, hopefully, no jail time). He goes to court on Nov. 5 for that. So if all is well with that we only have to worry about probation for the next 3 years. And really, no worries there. He will do what he is supposed to do, when he is supposed to do it. And that's that. And the court set up a payment plan for ALL his restitution and it's well within our reach even while Scott is unemployed.
A town not very far from us, Celebration, has a bi-annual yard sale. This past weekend was one of the days. So we went out there to see what we could find. The WHOLE town gets in on it. And you can find great deals. We did. We found a couple of new Disney DVD's and some Barbies for Layla. We got some PS2 games for Hut and Scott for $1 each. And Scott got a fairly new Mongoose bike for $50. He's been riding either Hut's or mine to get around. He loves his new bike.

Scott and I went to the walking trail so he could break it in. You can either walk or ride a bike on the paths. The bikers ride one way, the walkers walk the opposite direction. And then the crazy fool rode his bike to come visit me at work. 7+ miles one way. He's feeling it.

Scott and Molly lounging on the couch. Poor Molly is in heat. I thought I had another month at least before I needed to get her fixed. Thank goodness no strange dogs have shown up at the house. Bailey, our bassett hound, is fixed so no worries with him, and I think Max is too old and too short for any excitement. Hopefully we'll make it through this with no puppies and then Momma is taking her to get fixed.

Here is Molly with our cat, Booty Barker. You can't really tell, but Booty is giving Molly a bath. And Molly just loved it. She'd move around so Booty could lick her neck and her ears. It was funny to watch.

No Layla time this past week. Wade's band didn't practice this week. So I'm having Layla withdrawals. Hopefully we'll get to see her this weekend. I am watching my nephews 2 little ones on Saturday, so I'm hoping to get the kids together.

Loved seeing the pictures of Scott.

I forgot about the Celebratio Yard Sale ... man, I wish we could have gone.

So cool Scotty biked all the way over to SF. Wow ... THAT was a trip! Which way did he go? The back way down by Little Lake Eloise or the longer way by Rainbow Boat Basin?

Sorry you didn't get to see Layla and Wade this week. Tell him he owes you two days next week.

I was thinking of you the other day and wondering how Scott`s court case was coming along. Good to hear that the 2nd grand theft charge was dropped and will keep my fingers crossed that he will get no jail time for the other charges.

Wish I could have gone to that yard sale! How great that Scott was able to buy a bike for such a great price:-)

Love the picture of Molly being washed by Booty...so precious! Steve has a cat and a dog and they just barely stand each other. lol

Hope you`re having a great weekend so far:-) xoxo
