This is the team as they are pulling the heavy wagon down the narrow street.
This is the man actually controlling the horses. Notice the intensity on his face. He was struggling with the horses.
Finally they are able to stop for awhile so people can take pictures. The horses didn't like standing still, they fidgitted the whole time.
You can see how ansy they are here. They just want to be pulling that wagon.
A steady moment. Aren't they just beautiful?
Is it time to pull yet?
Even the dog was along for the ride.
Hut was thrilled they were there and he wanted his picture taken with the wagon. I had to make sure to get Merrimack in it too. I have actually been to the brewery in Merrimack, NH and the tour included seeing the stables and housing for the horses and their caretakers. It's beautiful there. If you are ever in that area, even if you don't drink beer, the tour of the grounds is amazing. You should check it out.
And what would a blog be with a picture of my sweet Layla? Just as I was going to take a picture, the wagon and horses were pulling away, which is why Layla is not facing the camera. But she got to see the horses up close with Nana. After seeing the horses, we went to grab a bite to eat and totally missed the car show. But it was worth it.
Just a foot note on Rossi. She is supposed to be born on January 27. So my little widget isn't correct anymore, she will be here about a week sooner. We are counting the days, we are excited for her to be here.
