The weekend

Well I told you I'd post about the weekend. The more I thought about it the more I decided it wasn't very exciting. Friday night Hut and CJ (his grandson) went to a Monster Truck show. Hut took the camera and got some pics and promised me he'd do a blog. I'm gonna give him another day to do it and then I'm posting the pics. We spent this weekend yard saleing.....again. Plus we bought Hut a new bedroom suite. He was sleeping on a twin bed and kept falling off. Now he has a double and is in heaven. We didn't really find a whole lot this past weekend. My son Wade went with us this weekend. I picked him up Friday night and had a chance to visit with my other son, Scott and his girlfriend, Elaine. We had a good visit, went out for pizza and caught up on life's events. Wade spent the day with us on Saturday, and then he had a hot date Saturday night. Wade is a really big Johnny Depp fan and just about every year for Halloween we have to figure out how to be a Depp character. This year he is going for Sweeney Todd. We always can manage to pull off really good costumes with the help of yard sales, Salvation Army and Goodwill. We found a straight razor at a flea market, and most of the clothes at Salvation Army. His new beau is going as Mrs. someone from the movie (Haven't seen it, so don't remember the name). We found most of her outfit there too. And I decided this year I am actually going to dress up. I found a wild skirt and vest and decided that I'm going to be a Gypsy. Last year I just wore black jeans, an orange shirt and cat ears and tail. I may even go to the local Halloween store and buy a crystal ball with a head in it or something. I have sandals on order for my gypsy outfit. I need to find a shirt with really puffy sleeves or something. I have everything else. I can hardly wait for Ghouls Night Out so I can dress up. After all that shopping around, we went to Five Guys for burgers and fries....mmmm,mmmm good. That was about it for my "what I thought was exciting" weekend. Next weekend is the Pumpkin Patch at PCC and maybe a trip to Orlando to see Steve and Tango from Ghost Hunters. I'll keep you posted.

I'm so glad Jerome and CJ had some fun together. I'll go to check his blog to see if he's updated it yet.

My favorite Wade costume is when he dressed up like Captain Jack Sparrow. That was a really cool costume!

I'm glad you and all of your boys had a great weekend!!
