No Copy Cats today

Okay I'm not going to copy anyone elses blog today. I'm doing one of my own. Not about anything exciting that happened today. We went yard saleing (not ever sure how to spell that word, so bear with me). We got a few movies, some clothes for me (since I'm still having a weight issue) and a really pretty white shawl with silver threading for Mrs. Claus to use on those "cold" nights. We did see the cutest sign in a trailer park we went to for a couple of sales. I just had to take a picture of it.
I just thought this was the neatest sign.
And because I didn't blog about this a week ago when it happened, I'm going to mention that my oldest sister and her husband came to Florida for a visit from Massachusetts. I have never been close to this sister and since my parents both passed away, my family and I have drifted apart. So even though I have 2 brother and a sister that live within an hours drive of here.....I don't see them. And besides the one sister in Mass. I also have a brother who lives there that I haven't seen in 4 years. My youngest sister and I do manage to see each other a couple of times a year, but it's usually because she comes to have lunch with me. Which is what my oldest sister, her husband and my youngest sister did. My bosses were nice enough to let me take an extended lunch so I could visit with the family. We had a good time. My oldest son Wade, also came to lunch with us. Of course, the fact that his girlfriend, Erin, works at State Farm has nothing to do with it, lol.

This is Wade and Erin. She's pretending to be camera shy. She's not shy at all.

This is my younger sister Holly and my sister Paulette's husband Kevin.

This is my oldest sister, Paulette. We had a really good time for lunch. Too bad we didn't have a chance to get together again before they left.

And I'm sure you're wondering what this is all about. This has nothing to do with the rest of the post. I just wanted to share that my scrapbooking table is also my makeup table. The lighting for the scrapbook table is great for putting on makeup, so I moved all my makeup there too. Thank Goodness for the neat makeup case I have. I just keep all the makeup in it and move it when I scrap. Which is going to be right now, when I finish here. I got some new ink cartridges for the printer and I'm ready to go. See Ya!

Before I forget, I will be spending tomorrow at Cypress Gardens, Florida's 1st theme park. They are closing their doors, again. This time is supposed to be temporary, but we'll see. We just love this park and my youngest son Scott and his girlfriend are going to go with us. Wade has to work. But I am going to take many, many pictures. So whether I blog tomorrow or Monday, it will be about the Gardens.

I'm glad that you were able to spend time with your family Bonnie. I too am not close to my only sibling, my brother. We see eachother once every 3 or 4 years at best. We really don't have anything in common, other than our parents and our childhood. It's really kind of sad, I wish that it was different, but it's not.
I see a resemblence between you and your sister. Have a great time at the Gardens.. can't wait to see the pictures.

How nice that you got to spend some time with your family Bonnie.

Have fun at Cypress Gardens. Such a beautiful place...Florida's original theme park. Hope they re-open their doors in the spring as promised.
