Clearwater Beach

Clearwater Beach is my FAVORITE beach. I love, love, love this beach. I'm a little sick that the oil spill may eventually reach it since it's on our west coast, but until then I am going to try to enjoy it as much as possible.
One of my favorite things is seeing the Pirate Ship that sails out of there. I have never been on it, but some day I will. If you wave at it, and they see you, they fire the cannons, lol.

Layla Sue when we first got there. She had no idea she was going to the beach until that morning when she got up and Mom had her bathing suit on.

Rossi Jean on her very first visit to the beach. I think she is definitely going to be a beach baby.

Although the water was nice...most of the time was spent playing in the sand. Here's Aunt Liz and Layla before we decided to buy toys.

Scott was a good sport by letting Liz, Diana and Layla turn him into a merman.

Aunt Liz having some Rossi time.

Nana and Rossi watching the crazy kids bury Uncle Gotty.

Rossi was pooped out. Taking a nap with Mom. I just love this picture of Diana and Rossi.

Finally Nana bought some beach toys and it was fun time for everyone....especially Layla.

More constructing. If you look in the left hand bottom corner you can see the start of Fort Scianimanico.

Another shot of sand toy fun with a bigger shot of Fort Scianimanico, which was built by the way, by Diana....Queen of the Fortress.

Rossi is happy as can be after her nap. She is such a happy baby and she had a great time at the beach...even if it did rain.

A day at the beach, is there anything better than that:-) Loved seeing all of your photos and it brought back so many memories of when I'd bring my boys to the beach almost every day during the summer. Ooooh I love pirate ships and that one looks like it would be fun to be on!! Layla and Rossi are adorable as usual:-) xoxo

Looks like a wonderful family fun day!!!I can't wait to take Cole to the beach this year...I am glad there is no sign of the oil spill in your area and hope that it doesn't come in that far:)

We are in spitting distance (1/4 mile) of the greatest lake in Oklahoma and find it too hot to go. Now that's bad. Happy to see all of you so happy.
