Feeling Fall

Even though it is still hotter than the dickens (102 yesterday) and we don't really have a fall season I can still feel it coming around this time every year.

I don't know if it's the New England in my blood or what, but for some reason by the middle of August, even in the heat, I can just feel the stirrings of autumn. I get ansy for the craft shows and holiday events that will soon be here.

I know those of you who live in the parts of the country that actually have seasons can probably actually feel the change in the air. Am I the only one in the heat zone that can tell?

We have at least another month and 1/2 of miserable heat before we start cooling off. Please send some fall freshness our way.

Believe it or not, I know exactly what you are feeling.

The nights here have really gotten much cooler so that's our first sign of Autumn fast approaching. The days are still nice and warm, though, but not as hot as you are having. I don't think I'd survive 3 digit temperatures!! lol I've always loved Autumn so I really don't mind that it's on its way:-) xoxo
